The Salvation Army Athol Corps

The Salvation Army is an evangelical part of the Christian church whose purpose is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and whose work is motivated by the love of God. We believe that as Christians it is our duty to help those in need regardless of their race, religion, age or sexual preference.
Meet human needs without discrimination The Salvation Army was founded by William & Catherine Booth in London England in 1865. Since the turn of the century The Salvation Army has units in The United States of America. The Salvation Army is involved in many different social service programs which vary from unit to unit. The Athol Corps is currently involved in Emergency, Food, Utility, shelter and Disaster Services. The corps also offers a wide array of children and youth programs.
