Gardner Emergency Housing Mission

Who We Are

The Mission of the Gardner Emergency Housing Mission is to provide short-term, emergency shelter for families with children for up to 30 days. GEHM’s structure is unique because it eliminates a need for families to split up to receive shelter and keeps families in their established, local community supporting school and maintains work-life consistency in their time of need.

What We Do

During their time in the shelter, families will work collaborate with a Gardner school based care coordinator to assist with resources to find safe housing and get on a path to self-sufficiency. Working with a school based care coordinator is a condition of the emergency housing.
