    United Way Day of Action From the Worldwide United Way, "Each year on June 21, communities around the world come together to harness the volunteer spirit and improve the conditions in which they live."

  • Older Americans Month: A Presidential Proclamation

    President Barack Obama declares May Older Americans Month. His proclamation is an excellent reminder that elders can be changemakers in our communities. The Volunteer Center is taking this opportunity to thank the seniors that are active volunteers and those that have participated as volunteers in the past. We welcome senior participation in the local agency volunteer opportunities and invite them to utilize their experience and skills to benefit the community!

    National Volunteer Week - April 12-18, 2015 Inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in their communities. The United Way of N. Central Mass. is one of many local non-profits that carries out its mission in the community with the help of our dedicated volunteers.
